Field Reports

The Field Reports module captures structured activity reports submitted by outreach staff. Reports document field visits, club sessions, and other program activities.

Field reports list

Field reports provide a record of on-the-ground program activity. Each report is submitted by a staff member and can be reviewed and managed by authorised users.

Key Concepts

  • Field report — a structured submission documenting a field activity with date, location, and narrative
  • Report status — the lifecycle state of a report (draft, submitted, reviewed)

Report List

A searchable list of all field reports with submission date, author, and status.

Report Details

Each field report stores:

  • Date and location
  • Activity description and key observations
  • Submission status

Workflows

Submitting a Field Report

  1. Navigate to Field Reports in the sidebar.
  2. Click + Add Report.
  3. Select the date and location.
  4. Fill in the activity details and observations.
  5. Click Save.

Viewing a Field Report

  1. Navigate to Field Reports.
  2. Click any report row to view its full details.

Editing a Field Report

  1. Navigate to Field Reports and click the report row.
  2. Click Edit in the detail panel.
  3. Update the fields and click Save.

FAQ

Who can create field reports? Only Root users can create field reports in the current system configuration. Contact your administrator if you need access.

Can a report be deleted? Only Root users can delete field report records.
